How many times can I install an eSIM, and can it be installed on different devices?
For DataMax eSIMÂ can be installed once.Are there any additional roaming charges?
There are NO additional roaming charges. The rates you see listed on our Rates & Coverage page are the only rates you will be charged when making or receiving calls on your OneSimCard enabled cell phone. This is true for using regular cellular voice or 1SIM VoIP App.Does iPhone Hotspot work with OneSimCard?
Yes. All unlocked iPhones' Hotspot feature works with OneSimCard SIM.Are there any monthly fees or connection charges?
There are no monthly fees or connection charges for using OneSimCard international cell phone service.
If you order an optional Personal Extra Number (PEN), there is a small periodic fee to keep the PEN active based on how you choose to be billed (from $1.67 per month). Is there a 911 emergency number in Europe that can be used with OneSimCard service?
Yes, in Europe the emergency number is 112. You can use 112 in Europe to report real emergencies to local authorities in the country of stay. The 3 digit number should be dialed directly without any additional digits in front of the number.

For DataMax and DataMax eSIM SIM cards, while there is no voice calling feature without the use of 1SIM VoIP, which doesn’t support emergency calling, most cell phones ALWAYS allow you to call emergency numbers, even without a SIM inserted into the phone. In Europe the emergency number is 112. You can use 112 in Europe to report real emergencies to local authorities in the country of stay. The 3 digit number should be dialed directly using the regular phone app (NOT the OneSim VoIP App) without any additional digits in front of the number.
How does OneSim VoIP work when the call is received?
When someone dials your OneSim VoIP enabled Personal Extra Number (PEN), the system will first check if your OneSimCard phone is registered with the OneSim VoIP app on a Wi-Fi network. If it is registered, the call will be sent using VoIP. If the OneSim VoIP app is not running or it is not registered on a Wi-Fi network, then the call will be sent using the standard OneSimCard roaming network and charged our standard roaming rates.How to estimate the amount of internet data usage on my device?

When I make a call using OneSim VoIP the quality of the call is not as good as the quality of the regular roaming connection. Can this be improved?
The quality of a OneSim VoIP call is only defined by the quality of your Wi-Fi connection. This is the part of the connection that we can not control. Quality of the Wi-Fi connection is defined by many parameters, rather than just by the speed of the connection. With a good Wi-Fi connection the quality of the call will be similar to using our regular roaming network.When does a Personal Extra Number (PEN) subscription start?
New SIM card orders with PENs
Your monthly, quarterly, bi-annual or annual subscription to a Personal Extra Number starts the moment your order has been shipped. If you do not need your Extra Number to be active right away, you can always wait and order an Extra Number later at any time by logging into your account.
eSIM orders on onesimcard.com do not require shipping.
PENs added to existing SIM cards
These PEN subscriptions are activated right after the order has been processed. The activation is virtuallyinstant, unless your PEN order requires additional documents for verification. Please see the local number information page for the list of any additional document requirements by country.
Free Trial PENs
Many SIM cards come with Free Trial PENs that are inactive by default. You can activate Free trial PENs at any time from your account.
BANK SMS Verification PEN
The SMS Verification PEN is the only PEN that can be used without a SIM card. These PENs are activated instantly if ordered on their own or added to an existing active SIM card.

Do international cell phones purchased from OneSimCard come with a warranty?
Unless otherwise noted, all phones sold on OneSimCard.com come with our standard 90-day replacement warranty. This warranty covers any mechanical defects, but does not include damage due to Acts of God, neglect, water damage, or other intentional or unintentional abuses of the phone. OneSimCard does offer extended warranties available for purchase.
