81. How To Use Questions
    • Can I forward calls from my OneSimCard phone to another number?

      Yes. Your Universal, Expedition and eSIM World OneSimCard mobile number can currently be forwarded to EU, Canada, USA, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus numbers. It's 100% free to forward your OneSimCard phone number to many countries including to U.S. or Canadian numbers. Forwarding to some countries, as well as to satellite phones, will carry a forwarding charge as listed in the Rates & Coverage page on OneSimCard.com.

      To enable/disable call forwarding from your online account:

      Log in at OneSimCard.com and go to the My SIM Cards menu. Select your SIM card number and enable/disable Call Forwarding on this screen.

      To enable/disable call forwarding from your phone:

      Dial *146*081*XXXXXXXXXXXXX# and press Send/Talk (where XXXXXXXXXXXXX is the forward-to number in international format: 00+countrycode+number)

      Newer SIM cards use *81* instead of *081*

      Example: to forward to U.S. number 1-617-555-1212, dial *146*081*0016175551212# and press Send/Talk.

      If you get an "Unknown Format?" message, dial *146*81*0016175551212#

      To disable call forwarding, dial *146*080# and press Send/Talk. If you get an "Unknown Format?" message dial *146*80# and press Send/Talk.

    • What is 1SIM FUND?

      The OneSimCard Money Fund allows you to pay for OneSimCard services by means other than credit cards and also by Visa and Master Cards enrolled in the credit card security programs:

       

      Once you deposit money into your OneSimCard Money Fund through one of above methods, you can use this fund to recharge your SIM(s), order a second number, or make any other payment for orders placed at OneSimCard.com.

      OneSimCard Money Fund additions are non-refundable. However, the money you put into the fund does not expire. There are no fees applied to the fund maintenance either.

      Example 1

      You are in Kenya and can't pay using a credit card. You would like to purchase a OneSimCard SIM for $39.95, and also be able to add airtime (recharge) later. You will also need to pay for shipping.

      First step - you need to add funds to your OneSimCard Money Fund. It's up to you what amount you would like to send us, but it should be large enough to cover your purchases. Let's say you posted $200.00 to your OneSimCard Money Fund.

      Once the money is received, we will send you a confirmation email. Then you can log in to your OneSimCard.com account and place your order. It will be instantly processed and the money will be deducted from your OneSimCard Money Fund account.

      Example 2

      You have 3 SIM cards and 3 personal second numbers.

      You want to set up auto-recharge for SIM1 and SIM2 in $25 increments and the third one in $50 increments. You also want to extend (recharge) your Second Numbers every month.

      Let's say you put $500 into your OneSimCard Money Fund account. Now you can set up $25 auto-recharges on your 2 SIMs and $50 auto-recharge for your 3rd SIM, as well as and automatic extension of your second number.

      This option allows many users around the word to take advantage of OneSimCard.com services without using a credit card.

      Example 3

      You use your credit card account to add money to the 1SIMCard Money Fund. The transaction from a credit cardl is instant. Funds will be instantly added to your 1SIM Card Money Fund, and then you can use the Money Fund to make any purchase at OneSimCard.com.

    • How do I check my OneSimCard balance?

      For Universal, Expedition, & eSIM World ONLY: Just dial 099 "Send" from your OneSimCard phone and in few minutes the balance will be displayed on the screen of your phone. Customers with iPhones can use OneSimCard Assist app to check balances and many other things.

      You can always check your current balance by logging onto your OneSimCard account at www.onesimcard.com.

84. Ordering Questions
    • Do international cell phones purchased from OneSimCard come with a warranty?

      Unless otherwise noted, all phones sold on OneSimCard.com come with our standard 90-day replacement warranty. This warranty covers any mechanical defects, but does not include damage due to Acts of God, neglect, water damage, or other intentional or unintentional abuses of the phone. OneSimCard does offer extended warranties available for purchase.

    • When does a Personal Extra Number (PEN) subscription start?

      New SIM card orders with PENs

      Your monthly, quarterly, bi-annual or annual subscription to a Personal Extra Number starts the moment your order has been shipped. If you do not need your Extra Number to be active right away, you can always wait and order an Extra Number later at any time by logging into your account.

      eSIM orders on onesimcard.com do not require shipping.

      PENs added to existing SIM cards

      These PEN subscriptions are activated right after the order has been processed. The activation is virtuallyinstant, unless your PEN order requires additional documents for verification. Please see the local number information page for the list of any additional document requirements by country.

      Free Trial PENs

      Many SIM cards come with Free Trial PENs that are inactive by default. You can activate Free trial PENs at any time from your account.

      BANK SMS Verification PEN

      The SMS Verification PEN is the only PEN that can be used without a SIM card. These PENs are activated instantly if ordered on their own or added to an existing active SIM card.

    • Do I need to activate the SIM card when my order is received or purchased from a retail store?

      Yes, you will need to activate the SIM card once the order is received.

      All OneSimCard international SIM cards and international cell phones with SIM cards are shipped inactive to prevent theft and improve security. Only the person who placed the order for OneSimCard service can activate it.

      Activation is very simple: When you receive the SIM, just log in to your account at www.OneSimCard.com and click the large Activate button you will see in the middle of the screen.

      Retail Customers: If you purchased your SIM card through an online or brick-and-mortar retail store, you should have received activation instructions inside the product packaging. To activate retail SIM cards, go to www.OneSimCard.com/Retail enter your new OneSimCard international mobile number and fill out the form to register and activate the SIM card. You will be provided specific instructions on the registration page.

87. Ordering Questions
    • What kind of payments do you accept?

      We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Bitcoin.

      U.S. corporations can pay with company checks, ACH or wire transfer. No order will be processed until funds are cleared

      For international customers with credit cards issued outside of the U.S. we require the order to be verified using the OneSimCard verification procedure. We do accept credit cards from most foreign countries.

      Attention: Customers from the following countries must use Bitcoin option only (we will not accept credit cards as a form of payment): Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Lebanon, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine and Syria.

       

      To make it simpler, you can deposit money into your OneSimCard Money Fund and then use the funds to make all purchases at OneSimCard.com including airtime recharges.

88. Troubleshooting Questions
    • I can't send SMS from my iPhone

      There is a known bug with iPhone phone book. If you are trying to text to a contact that is entered in the phone book, and the contact is not entered in proper international number format, the SMS will not go through even if you just enter the number in the SMS menu directly and properly. 
      Please edit the record in the phone book to be +CountryCode_Number. It needs to have the + character in front, which is an equivalent of 00.

      You will also need to delete all recent attempts to send SMS to this number from the Messaging menu. It should be no conversation or attempts to send SMS left in the phone to this number.


      We understand that this is very frustrating, but do not know why Apple will not fix it. This problem affects only Apple phones.

      Example: for US Number 1-617-600-8250 you should have entered in the address book: +16176008250
      Delete existing text conversation after fixing the phone book record. 
      You can always test your SMS by sending SMS to OneSimCard Support number +16176008250 from your OneSimCard phone. This will create an automated ticket in the system and you will know if the message was delivered or not. You will be charged regular SMS rate for this message.
89. Troubleshooting Questions
    • I have a Samsung phone. When I dial following your instructions it does not work. What's wrong?

      Some phones such as Samsung and some other brands require dialing a specific prefix 146 in front of the dialed string when used with a OneSimCard.

      For example, calling to USA: Dial *146*0016175551212# and press the TALK (or SEND) button
      * is a star character located on the keypad 
      • To check your balance dial  *146*099 and press the TALK (or SEND) button
      • To add funds dial *146*098XXXX*ZZ and press the TALK (or SEND) button,
        where XXXX - 4 last digit of your credit card on file, ZZ - Recharge amount
      • You need to press * on your phone in the above dialing sequences
      • Activation of voice mail *146*091 and press the TALK (or SEND) button
      • Deactivation of voice mail *146*090 and press the TALK (or SEND) button
      • Check number of messages in Voice Mail *146*094 and press the TALK (or SEND) button
      • To listen to voice mail *146*095 and press the TALK (or SEND) button

      The sequence *146* can be used from any phone. However, most phones do not require it.

      It is possible to make almost any phone entirely compatible, so you can call directly without using OneSimCard menu or *146* by following these simple programming instructions below.

      How to activate compatibility mode:

        1. Locate and Open "OneSimCard" Menu. ( It could  be displayed as STK Menu)

              2. Select "Settings"

        Newer SIM Cards: Select "Compatibility" and make sure "On" is selected
        Older SIM Cards: After selecting Settings:
        1. Agree with message by pressing "Yes"
        2. Dial digits "1101" and select "OK" (Screen will show "CC OptionX: ON" message)

          Bear in mind that if you have powered your telephone down, and have removed and reinstalled the battery, you will need to follow the programming steps outlined above, again.

        • How long will it take for my OneSimCard to be delivered?

          Your order will be shipped the next business day.

          We offer several delivery options for shipments to the USA:

          Your order should arrive in 1-5 business days,Tracking is available for US deliveries. It is not available for international deliveries.

          • USPS Priority mail
            Your order should arrive within 2-3 business days, but it is not guaranteed. You will be provided tracking details with this method
          • UPS UPS Next Day Early.
            Delivery guaranteed by 10 AM or 3 PM.
          • UPS 2nd Day Air
            Delivery is guaranteed in 2 business days.
          • UPS Next Day
            Next day delivery to most locations in the USA.

          Next day delivery to most locations in the USA

          • UPS Ground
            Delivery guaranteed in 1-6 business days depending on the destination from Boston, where we ship from.

          For orders shipped outside of USA:

          • International Air Mail - usually takes 5 to 30 business days, no tracking
          • US Postal Service International Priority - delivery time depends on the country
          • UPS International - 2-6 business days - depends on the country and location in the country. This is the most reliable shipping option.
